Overview
The smallest states of India, Nagaland, which is located at the extreme north eastern part of India. This beautiful state is surrounded by The Naga Hills rise from the Brahmaputra Valley in Assam. It is located at the height of 6,000 feet from the sea level. The entire state is covered with lush green forest which is the home of various flora and fauna. Nagaland is the major region of tribes, which is inhabited by 16 major tribes such as Ao Naga, Angami Naga, Chang Naga, Konyak people, Lotha Naga etc. It has the unique tribal culture and traditions, customs. Still they follow the ancient tribal customs and rituals.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Dibrugarh
Upon arrival at Dibrugarh airport, meet our representative and transfer to hotel. Dibrugarh is known as Tea City of India. It is the one of the major city in Assam.It is closed to the Kaziranga National Park. Located on the bank of Brahmaputra Rive.
On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Dibrugarh - Mon (By Road - 210 Kilometres)
Today after having an early breakfast depart by car for Mon. En route stop at Moran for lunch.
Mon is located at the height of 897.64 meters above from sea level. It is the stronghold of the renowned Konyak tribe, one of the largest tribe in Nagaland. It consists of a cluster of villages. Upon arrival at Mon, check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Mon.
Day 03: Mon - Chui - Longwa - Mon(Excursion Tour)
After having an early breakfast, proceed to Chui village, which is located at the distance of 8 kilometres away from Mon. it is the unique village, where you will find the traditional houses of the Konyak tribes. It is also renowned village for its ethnic craftsmanship
Later proceed to Longwa, which is located at the distance of about 42 kilometres away from Mon. it shares the international boundary of Myanmar and India.
En route stop at the bank of river Tapi and have the packed lunch. Overnight at hotel in Mon. Then visit the houses of Konyak tribes where you will find the traditional culture, tradition and lifestyle of the unique tribals.
Return back to Mon in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Mon (By Road - 42 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast visit Mon village which is located at the distance of about 7 Kilometres away from the Mon town, where you will get the chance to meet the King, who ruled over 12 villages. Also visit Morung, and understand the significant tribal lifestyle of the villages.
Return back to Mon in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05: Mon - Tuensang (By Road - 175 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, drive to Tuensang. Enroute you can enjoy the panoramic view of Veda Peak which is the highest in the district, it is also shares the International border of Myanmar.
Tuensang is the largest district of Nagaland, and also the home of five major Naga tribes - Sangtam, Chang, Yimchunger, Khiamniungan, Phom and a part of Sumi.
Arrive Tuensang and check in at the Government guest house. Overnight at the guest house.
Day 06: Tuensang - Mokokchung (By Road - 97 Kilometres)
Today after breakfast. Proceed to Tuensang village and explore the significant lifestyle of the tribals. It is also renowned village for manufacturing of the traditional handicrafts items.
Afternoon departs for Mokokchung, which is located at the heights of 4347 feet. It is the home of the Ao Naga tribe.
Arrive Mokokchung and drive to one of the spectacular village of Mopungchuket. Check in at a lodge. Rest day is free at leisure. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Mokokchung - Tuephema (By Road - 119 Kilometres)
Morning after breakfast visit some small and unique villages such as Mopungchuket Village and Longkhum village. Mopungchuket Village is located at the distance of about 20 Kilometres away from Mokokchung. You can know about the culture and tradition of the Nagas tribes from the library and museum which is located here and it has been built and maintained by the village youth. Later visit Longkhum village which is located at the height of about 1846 meters
Later drive to Tuephema. On the way visit Wokha, the Lotha and Angami tribe belt.
Tuephema is the major tourist village, which is located between Mokokchung and Kohima highway Tuephema is a unique village resort in the midst of blue hills.
Upon arrival, check in to the village resort. In the evening,enjoy the traditional dances along with the traditional foods. Overnight stay at Tuephema
Day 08: Tuephema - Khonoma (By Road - 21Kilometres)
Today morning after having the breakfast, enjoy the traditional and cultural show performed by local tribes. After enjoying the dance show, drive to Khonoma Green Village which is located at the distance of about 21 kilometres away from Tuephema.
It is renowned as the legendary leader Angami Zapu Phizo who was the founder of the Naga movement.
Arrive Khonoma and stay in a beautiful homestay, situated in the midst of pine trees.
Evening free to enjoy a nature walk. Overnight at homestay.
Day 09: Khonoma - Kohima (By Road - 18 Kilometres)
Morning after breakfast depart for Kohima. Surrounded by the hills, Kohima is a beautiful city. It is the capital of Nagaland, which is located at the height of 1444 meter above sea level. The literal meaning of Kohima is the men of the land where the flower Kew Hi grows.
Arrive Kohima and check in at hotel. After freshen up proceed to The Kohima War Cemetery and Kohima village which is also known as Bara Basti ( big village) it is the home of Angami.
Evening free at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Kohima - Dimapur (By Road - 78 Kilometres)
Post breakfast, drive to Dimapur. It is the one of the major city of Nagaland and also known as the economy capital of the region.
Arrive Dimapur and check in at hotel. After freshen up, proceed to the visit some of the major attractions of the city such as Ruins of Kachari Kingdom and Dimapur Market , it is well-known market , where you will find goods imported items from China and Myanmar.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Dimapur depart
